Rabat, Fes, Meknes, Marrakech are called Imperial Cities because each one served as the capital of a powerful Moroccan dynasty at some point in history. When a new dynasty came to power, the sultan would often choose a different city as the political and spiritual center of the kingdom. These cities became home to royal palaces, grand mosques, and important monuments reflecting the wealth, influence, and architectural style of their ruling era.

Discover the highlights of Morocco’s Imperial Cities: admire the grand Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, wander the colorful alleys of Fes’s ancient medina, explore the blue-washed Kasbah of the Udayas and the majestic Hassan Tower in Rabat, stroll through Jemaa el-Fna square in Marrakech.

Day 1: Casablanca Airport – Casablanca (1 hour drive approx. depending on traffic)

At your arrival in Casablanca airport, our driver will be meeting you for a welcome and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca – Fes (4 hours drive approx. excluding stops)

Begin your day with a guided visit of Casablanca, Morocco’s vibrant economic capital. Admire the architectural grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque, stroll along the scenic Corniche, and discover the city’s colonial charm at Mohammed V Square. After exploring Casablanca’s highlights, enjoy a smooth and comfortable transfer to Fes – the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. Overnight at your hotel. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 3: Full Day Walking Tour of Fes

Step into the heart of Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital with a full-day guided tour of Fes, the oldest of the imperial cities. Drive to the Royal Palace gates, Jewish Quarter. Then continue through the UNESCO-listed Medina of Fes el-Bali, a labyrinth of narrow alleys buzzing with artisans, spice vendors, and centuries-old traditions. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine University (the oldest university in the world) outside Visit, and the Chouara Tanneries, where leather is still dyed using age-old methods. Discover the beauty of the Nejjarine Fountain, stop by traditional craft workshops (pottery, mosaics, metalwork), and soak in the city’s rich scholarly and spiritual heritage. Day 4: Fes – Rabat via Meknes & Volubilis (4 hours drive approx. excluding stops)

Travel from Fes to Rabat. Begin by a short visit of the imperial city of Meknes – Visit Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then continue to Volubilis: walk through history at this Roman ruins a beautifully preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring ancient mosaics and temples. Continue your journey through Morocco’s heartland before arriving in Rabat, the elegant capital city, where tradition and modernity meet. Overnight at your Riad. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 5: Rabat – Marrakech (4 hours drive approx. excluding stops)

Begin your day exploring Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, where history and modernity blend together. Visit iconic sites such as the majestic Hassan Tower, the beautifully ornate Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the peaceful Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After soaking in Rabat’s cultural heritage and charming neighborhoods, embark on a comfortable journey south to vibrant Marrakech. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes from lush plains to the Atlas Mountains before arriving in the bustling heart of Morocco’s most famous imperial city. Overnight at your Riad. Day 6: Full Day Tour of Marrakech

Discover the magic of Marrakech, a city bursting with color, energy and centuries of history. Begin in the heart of the Medina, where narrow alleys lead to vibrant souks filled with spices, handicrafts, and textiles. Visit architectural gems like the majestic Bahia Palace, the richly decorated Saadian Tombs, and the iconic Koutoubia Mosque (exterior). Step into the elegant Dar El Bacha – Musée des Confluences, a beautifully restored palace showcasing Moroccan art, culture, and global influences — with an optional stop at its renowned café. Continue your journey with a cultural encounter at a traditional public oven (ferran), where locals still bake their daily bread, and witness the work of a fernatchi, the keeper of the wood-fired furnace that heats the neighborhood hammam. End the day in the bustling Jemaa el-Fna square, alive with snake charmers, storytellers, street food, and local performers — a true sensory experience and a perfect snapshot of Marrakech’s soul. Day 7: Marrakech

Visit of Majorelle Gardens & YSL Museum. Start your day with a peaceful stroll through the iconic Majorelle Garden, a haven of exotic plants, fountains, and vibrant cobalt blue architecture — once lovingly restored by Yves Saint Laurent. Right next door, visit the YSL Museum, which beautifully showcases the designer’s work and connection to Moroccan style and culture.
In the afternoon, dive into Moroccan culinary traditions with a hands-on cooking class with a local family. Learn to prepare authentic dishes like tajine or zaalouk under the guidance of a local host. End the experience by enjoying the delicious meal — a flavorful memory to take home. Overnight at your Riad. Meals: Breakfast & Dinner (as a part of cooking class).

Day 8: Departure Transfer to either Marrakech Airport or Casablanca Airport

Marrakech to Marrakech Airport: approx. 20 minutes drive
Marrakech to Casablanca Airport: approx. 2 and half hours drive
