MOROCCO DISCOVERY

Day 1: Casablanca Airport – Casablanca (1 hour drive approx. depending on traffic)

At your arrival in Casablanca airport, our driver will be meeting you for a welcome and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat Fes Day 3 : Walking Full day Tour of Fes(4 hours drive approx. excluding stops)

Begin your day with a guided visit of Casablanca, Morocco’s vibrant economic capital. Admire the architectural grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque, stroll along the scenic Corniche and discover the city’s colonial charm at Mohammed V Square. Start exploring Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, visiting highlights like the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Royal Palace ( outside). After soaking in Rabat’s rich history and calm atmosphere, embark on a scenic drive northeast to Fes, passing through picturesque landscapes and traditional villages. Arrive in Fes, ready to discover one of Morocco’s oldest and most vibrant imperial cities. Overnight at your hotel. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 3: Full Day Walking Tour of Fes

Step into the heart of Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital with a full-day guided tour of Fes, the oldest of the imperial cities. Drive to the Royal Palace gates, Jewish Quarter. Continue through the UNESCO-listed Medina of Fes el-Bali, a labyrinth of narrow alleys buzzing with artisans, spice vendors, and centuries-old traditions. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine University (the oldest university in the world) outside visit and the Chouara Tanneries, where leather is still dyed using age-old methods. Discover the beauty of the Nejjarine Fountain, stop by traditional craft workshops (pottery, mosaics, metalwork), and soak in the city’s rich scholarly and spiritual heritage. At the end enjoy panoramic views from Borj Nord, offering a breathtaking look over the medina. Overnight at your Riad. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 4: Meknes & Volubilis (1 and half hour drive approx. excluding stops per way)

Embark on a full-day excursion from Fes to the historic city of Meknes (approximately 65 km, about 1 hour by car). Explore Meknes’ medina and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then continue to the nearby ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, located about 30 km from Meknes (roughly 30 minutes drive), where you will discover well-preserved mosaics and archaeological sites that reveal Morocco’s rich Roman heritage. After this fascinating journey through history, return to Fes late afternoon. Overnight at your Riad. Meals: Breakfast

Day 5: Fes – Erfoud (7 hours drive approx. excluding stops)

Along the way through the breathtaking Middle Atlas Mountains, you will pass through picturesque Berber villages, cedar forests where wild monkeys roam and fertile valleys that contrast sharply with the desert to come. The road winds through scenic mountain passes, offering spectacular views of rural life and traditional Moroccan landscapes. As you descend from the mountains, the environment gradually changes to the arid, sun-baked plains of the Sahara’s edge. You will arrive in Erfoud, a town known for its vast date palm groves and its rich deposits of ancient fossils. Erfoud serves as the gateway to the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes, where desert adventures like camel treks and starry-night camps await. This journey offers a remarkable transition from lush mountains to the endless Sahara, highlighting Morocco’s diverse and stunning geography. Dinner & Overnight at your Hotel. Day 6: Erfoud – Merzouga (1 and half hours drive approx. excluding stops)

Begin your day exploring the fascinating towns of Erfoud and Rissani, gateways to Morocco’s desert culture. In Erfoud, visit the local markets known for their fossils and dates (if it is open) — some of the oldest in the world — and learn about the area’s rich history. Continue to Rissani, a historic town that was once a key stop on ancient caravan routes, where you can stroll through vibrant souks filled with traditional crafts, spices, and local goods. Rissani’s lively atmosphere and authentic markets offer a glimpse into everyday desert life. In the afternoon set off on a scenic drive toward the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes, Morocco’s tallest sand dunes rising up to 150 meters. Upon arrival embark on a camel trek across the golden sands as the sun begins to set, painting the desert with warm hues. Reach your luxury desert camp, where you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by Berber music. Day 7: Merzouga – Skoura (5 hours drive approx. excluding stops)

After leaving the golden sands of Erg Chebbi, continue your journey toward Tinghir, a charming town located near the stunning Todgha Gorge. Tinghir offers an authentic glimpse into Berber life, with traditional markets, palm groves and nearby ancient villages. It is the perfect gateway to explore the dramatic cliffs and winding canyons of the Todra Gorge, a breathtaking natural wonder with towering limestone walls. On the way to Skoura stop at Ksar Khorbat, a well-preserved fortified village (ksar) showcasing classic southern Moroccan architecture. This ancient ksar offers a fascinating look into rural Moroccan history and the traditional way of life with its earthen buildings, narrow alleyways and communal spaces. Exploring Ksar Khorbat provides insight into how communities lived and thrived in these arid regions for centuries. Day 8: Skoura – Marrakech (5 hours drive approx. excluding stops)

Depart from the calm oasis of Skoura and travel west toward the bustling city of Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Along the way enjoy scenic views of palm groves and dramatic mountain landscapes. In Ouarzazate, you can explore the impressive Taourirt Kasbah, a historic fortified palace. From Ouarzazate continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning ancient ksar known for its traditional mud-brick architecture and as a backdrop for many famous films. Wander through the narrow alleys and soak in the rich history of this well-preserved fortified village. Continue the journey through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, winding through the High Atlas Mountains with breathtaking views, before arriving in the vibrant city of Marrakech, ready to immerse yourself in its lively medinas and bustling souks. Day 9: Full Day Tour of Marrakech

Discover the magic of Marrakech, a city bursting with color, energy, and centuries of history. Begin in the heart of the Medina, where narrow alleys lead to vibrant souks filled with spices, handicrafts and textiles. Visit architectural gems like the majestic Bahia Palace, the richly decorated Saadian Tombs and the iconic Koutoubia Mosque (exterior). Step into the elegant Dar El Bacha – Musée des Confluences, a beautifully restored palace showcasing Moroccan art, culture and global influences — with an optional stop at its renowned café. Continue your journey with a cultural encounter at a traditional public oven (ferran), where locals still bake their daily bread, and witness the work of a fernatchi, the keeper of the wood-fired furnace that heats the neighborhood hammam. End the day in the bustling Jemaa el-Fna square, alive with snake charmers, storytellers, street food, and local performers — a true sensory experience and a perfect snapshot of Marrakech’s soul. Day 10: Day Excursion to the Atlas Mountains

Escape the city and spend a full day discovering the stunning landscapes and authentic culture of the Atlas Mountains. Drive through scenic valleys and traditional Berber villages, with stops for panoramic views of terraced fields, rushing rivers and snow-capped peaks (in winter). Along the way learn about Berber traditions, local crafts and daily mountain life.
One of the highlights of the day is a warm and authentic lunch shared with a local Berber family in their home. Enjoy homemade tajine, fresh bread and mint tea while connecting with the people who call the Atlas Mountains home. This experience offers not only breathtaking nature but also a genuine insight into Morocco’s rich cultural heritage. Overnight at your Riad. Day 11: Marrakech – Marrakech Airport or Casablanca Airport
